The University of Salamanca (USAL) is pleased to announce the organization of the “1st European Conference: Medical Education on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation & Society, AIIS 2023”.

Aims of the Conference: This conference aims to:
- Present the outcomes of the AIIS Project, with a specific focus on the exploitation activities and its significance in medicine studies.
- Bring together national and European stakeholders, including Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), who are eager to explore the AI and Soft Skills training program and collaborative learning method developed under the AIIS project.
- Provide a platform for representatives of medical universities and companies, medicine students, organizations who collaborated on the project and those who participated in the project’s development.
- Raise awareness and foster dialogue among professionals in the medical education field.
Agenda: Esteemed representatives from external institutions involved in the project implementation will also attend the conference, offering insightful presentations.
Hybrid Format: The 1st European Conference: Medical Education on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation & Society, AIIS 2023 will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend either in person at the conference venue in Salamanca (University of Salamanca, Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca, 37007 Salamanca, Spain) or remotely via an online platform. This innovative approach ensures broad accessibility to the conference, enabling individuals from various European localities to join and engage in meaningful discussions.
Participants: We invite all individuals, organizations, and institutions interested in the convergence of medical education, artificial intelligence, innovation, and society to join us at the 1st European Conference: Medical Education on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation & Society, AIIS 2023.

The AIIS project holds the primary objective of providing a comprehensive program for medical students. By placing emphasis on AI, innovation, and soft skills, the AIIS project aims to facilitate the seamless integration of this program into the curricula of European universities.
